Panchakarma

Deep Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation. Five therapeutic procedures proven over millennia.

What is Panchakarma?

Panchakarma (Sanskrit — "five actions") is a comprehensive Ayurvedic program for deep body cleansing from toxins (Ama) and dosha imbalance. Unlike ordinary detox programs, Panchakarma works at the cellular level, removing impurities even from deep tissues. The procedure is supervised by an Ayurvedic doctor and takes 7 to 21 days.

In Ayurveda, it is believed that most diseases begin with the accumulation of Ama — products of incomplete metabolism that settle in tissues. Panchakarma literally "pulls out" these impurities through natural exit routes: mouth, nose, intestines and skin.

The Three Phases of Panchakarma

01

Preparation (Purvakarma)

"The Melting Phase." Through internal and external oilation (Snehana) and medicinal steam (Swedana), toxins are moved from tissues into the digestive tract. Without this preparation, deep toxins cannot be extracted safely.

02

Extraction (Pradhanakarma)

"The Action Phase." Once toxins are mobilized, the five Panchakarma methods are applied, each targeting a specific body system and dosha. This is the main cleansing stage.

03

Reconstruction (Paschatkarma)

"The Rebuild Phase." After deep cleansing, we use a special graduated diet and herbal protocols to reignite Agni (digestive fire) and seal in the newfound immunity.
